These changes highlight the exceptional talent within our organization and recognize the key contributions these individuals have made to SBOATI and CIP's success. As we position ourselves for future growth, we are excited about the leadership and innovation these team members will bring to their new roles.
David Myers Promoted to Head of Self-Storage, VP - Operations
David Myers has been promoted to Head of Self-Storage and Vice President - Operations. In this capacity, David will oversee CIP’s self-storage program, SBOA Tenant Insurance (SBOATI) and SBOA Insurance Services, strategy and execution, focusing on growth and profitability in the self-storage tenant insurance market. Additionally, as VP - Operations, David will manage select operational functions across all programs and business units, including technology providers, contact center providers, and business analysts. He will report to Kathy Wallace Wee and John Myers. Since joining Cornerstone in 2013 as an Associate Relationship Manager, David has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise, earning numerous promotions. Under his stewardship, the SBOATI program has achieved remarkable growth while maintaining high service standards. David is a licensed insurance producer in all U.S. states and holds CPCU and AIC credentials. We are excited to see David continue to drive CIP’s success in his expanded role.
Erika Campbell Promoted to AVP - Self-Storage Operations
Erika Campbell has been elevated to Assistant Vice President - Self-Storage Operations. Erika will oversee relationship management and claims teams, ensuring first-class customer service through performance management, operational excellence, and compliance. She will continue to report to David Myers. Since joining Cornerstone in 2017 as Claims Manager, Erika has redefined operational efficiency in claims processing, creating scalable structures to manage growth while maintaining service excellence. Erika’s strategic leadership will further enhance the self-storage team’s impact on the industry. She holds CPCU and AIC-M designations and is a licensed adjuster in all states that issue licenses. Nathaniel (Nate) Trone Promoted to Senior Manager - Business Development
Nate Trone will transition into the role of Senior Manager - Business Development. In this role, Nate will focus on onboarding new operators into the SBOATI program and strengthening relationships within the storage industry. He will continue to report to David Myers. Starting as a business intern in 2016, Nate has rapidly risen through the ranks, most recently serving as Account Supervisor for the SBOATI Relationship Management team. Nate’s industry knowledge and personable approach have been instrumental in driving program innovation and customer engagement. His expertise will be invaluable as he takes on a dedicated business development role.
Nyree Perez Promoted to Claims Supervisor
Nyree Perez has been promoted to Claims Supervisor, where she will manage the claims adjusters and administrative staff, ensuring exceptional claims practices and customer service. Nyree will continue to report to Erika Campbell. One of Cornerstone’s longest-serving employees, Nyree has been a cornerstone (pun intended!) of the claims department since joining in 2011. Her leadership in training, quality assurance, and operational excellence has prepared her to lead the claims team into its next phase of growth.
Brittany Rising Promoted to Account Supervisor - SBOATI Relationship Managers
Brittany Rising will now lead the SBOATI Relationship Management team as Account Supervisor, reporting to Erika Campbell. Brittany joined Cornerstone in 2020 and has quickly proven herself as a natural leader with a knack for building strong professional relationships. Brittany’s work with top storage operators has already elevated the SBOATI program, and we are confident that her leadership will take the team to new heights. Brittany holds her P&C Producer License in Pennsylvania.
